Teaching Staff

Teaching Assistant

We are looking to appoint a suitably skilled, experienced, well-motivated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our friendly and dedicated team.

This post is for 23.3 hours split over 5 days per week to support a child currently in Year 8. The successful candidate should have experience of with working with children with social communication difficulties. They should also be able to work as a team member and be able to use their own initiative. We would like someone who has a caring approach to children and who can demonstrate creativity and flexibility in supporting learners, as well as someone who enthusiastically engages in the wider aspects of the school.  Ideally the candidate will have experience of supporting pupils at Key Stage 3. You must have experience of teaching interventions, 1:1, with particular emphasis on numeracy.

Previous experience is essential and you must uphold a positive attitude towards teaching and the learning environment. You must have good organisational skills and be able to communicate effectively with parents.

First Aid and Safeguarding children certificates are advantageous.
